Basics: Dr. Grace Augustine was born on Earth in the year 2093 (but is functionally about 54 years of age), and later migrated to Pandora in 2139 to lead the research team in charge of the Avatar Project. A brilliant scientist and xenobotanist, Grace stands at about 5'11, with fiery red hair and a personality to match. She has no special powers to speak of. As a scientist, Grace's primary concern is with her work. She's passionate about her research and dedicated to the study of Pandora, but can come off sharp-tongued and short-tempered around other humans. It's been said that Grace likes plants more than people. She smokes, she drinks, and she snarks. In Avatar form, Grace stands at 10', with blue skin, dark yellow eyes, and black hair; she's more enthusiastic, more cheerful, and less irritable.

More: Grace comes to the bar three years prior to canon, about the year 2151. She literally wrote the book on the unique botany that she's discovered on Pandora, and is considered a living legend in the Terran scientific community. Grace also created a school to teach the indigenous people, the Na'vi, the English language and human culture; though, throughout canon, she demonstrates that her primary concern is keeping the people and the wealth of information found on Pandora safe from those who would destroy it. Pandora is a moon of the gas giant Polyphemus, which orbits Alpha Centauri A. Discovered by the first interstellar expedition in 2129, Pandora has been the single most interesting thing to happen to mankind in hundreds of years.
